Select from the currencies available during setup. Once your Demo account has been created, its base currency cannot be changed.
Demo accounts operate in a simulated market environment. Although they are designed to reflect many Live trading conditions, they do not fully replicate factors such as market liquidity and price slippage, so execution and trading outcomes may differ from a Live account.

Which platform can I use with an Axi Demo account?
Axi's DFSA Demo account is available on MetaTrader 4 (MT4). You can use the Demo account to become familiar with MT4 and practise trading with virtual funds in a simulated market environment.
Does an Axi Demo account expire?
Standard Demo access is available for 30 days. If you open and fund an Axi Live account, you can continue to use a Demo account without a fixed expiry period.
Are Demo account spreads the same as Live account spreads?
Axi Standard and Pro Demo accounts use the same spreads and swap rates as their corresponding Live Standard and Pro accounts. However, Demo trading takes place in a simulated environment, so liquidity, slippage and other execution outcomes may differ from Live trading.
How do I open an MT4 Demo trading account?
Open a free Axi Demo account and follow the setup process to create your MT4 account. Select the available account settings, including your base currency and virtual starting balance, then use your Demo credentials to start practising on MT4.
What leverage is available on an Axi DFSA Demo account?
For DFSA Retail clients, leverage depends on the instrument being traded and is limited to a maximum of 30:1. Some instruments have lower leverage limits.
Are all trading instruments available on a Demo account?
No. Demo accounts provide access to most of the trading instruments available on Live accounts, but availability may vary. Share CFDs are not currently available on Demo accounts.
Can I change the base currency of my Demo account?
No. Once a Demo account has been created, its base currency cannot be changed. If you want to use a different base currency, you will need to open a new Demo account.
